Dear Wal-Mart Guy

Dear Wal-Mart greeter guy,

Stop saying hi to me when I walk in. Haven't you got the hint yet? I haven't said hi back to you for like the last fifty times.

Don't you have a retiree's pension kicking around somewhere so that you don't have to work like this? For eight bucks an hour? No seriously, I don't have a problem if you need the money and I don't want to put down the people that do. But you live right down the block from me in a really nice house. I know you're not hard up for cash, so what's the deal.

I mean wouldn't you be LESS embarassed to be dressed as a mascot for a pizza company and have people hurl insults and actual non-verbal but painful real objects at you as you dodge cars and stand precariously on the traffic dividers? If so, why don't you go phone Dominoes or something?

GO VOLUNTEER somewhere and reep the benefits of making a real difference or expect me to take you outside for a good old fashioned talking concerning WHAT ARE YOU DOING AT Wal-Mart.

Come on now,
J.C.Q.

About me

  • I'm Fishsticks
  • From Belgium
  • I am a Francophone that is a strong supporter of General T. Foolery’s mission. I use this blog to post about rien du tout or je-ne-sais-quoi ici et là. There’s nothing derisive or divisive here. No no, that takes too much effort. I try to post hebdomadarily. It rarely works given my slackedness.

Unfortunately, my sidekick B.A.Q., an Anglophone, sometimes adds lackadaisical posts to this site, including tales of two nations warring within the bosom of one house. I apologize for this not-so-hilarious inconvenience. It does not happen frequently.
